We have been playing at events, festivals and carnivals throughout the North West since our formation in 2002. Drumming styles  range from  traditional Brazilian, to grooves such as 'Hip Hop' 'funk' and contemporary original material. As well as the traditional carnival costumes we have more recently added a new 'steampunk' look.  More Steampunk images here.

We welcome new players and are always on the lookout for people with prior musical experience. However many of our players were beginners and started by attending our workshops or open rehearsals. For more details go to the 'workshops' page
